VM ShopBuilder ProThis extension is for importing directly into the popular Virtuemart component configured as a catalog. It utilizes the Commission Junction API  as well as our popular data feed importer. Now you can create content rich product catalogs quickly and easily with just a few steps.

Utilizing merchant supplied feeds allows you to build a content rich catalog in just minutes. Menus and categories are automatically created into the Virturmart display. You also have the option of creating your own categories and populate just the products you want to display. Feeds can be from multiple networks and can be mixed and matched to meet your site niche or you can mix and match into the same categories to provide multiple sources.

You can put products into the catalog or directly into your Joomla content. Once in content the entries become a standard Joomla article. You manage those articles in the component they can be easily updated. You'll have all of the felxibility Joomla provides in the display and layout of each article.

Commission Junction normally charges affiliates a few hundred dollars to access merchant data feeds. Our Joomla component uses the free API so you can access the Commission Junction product catalog, for free. If you are already a Commission Junction affiliate all you need to do is register at CJ Webservices and you are given a developer's key. If you are not yet a CJ affiliate, you can sign up for free here. Then you can access the entire CJ product catalog for all merchants, and post product links for those you are partnered with..

Installation and configuration of the component is very quick and easy. We have step by step tutorials to get you up and running. In just a few simple steps you can be populating your website with products from your partner merchants on the Commission Junction network or any merchant that supplies a compatible feed. You have full access to see the entire product catalog at Commission Junction giving you the ability to seek out additional merchants that carry products you want to showcase. Build customized price comparison pages and give your shoppers a selection across multiple merchants or give them the option to shop at their favorite merchant.

In the past downloading, importing, and managing datafeeds has been a major time consumer and headache for affiliates. It was something that only the most advanced webmasters could do. You had to have advance expertise in MYSQL, PHP, CSS, HTML, Linux, etc. Even then it took days or weeks to build a product website. Then you had to maintain it. Constant updating of products, managing all of this was a nightmare.
